Mainly black Grenache and Syrah, the most emblematic and local grape varieties from the Rhône Valley. The exceptional terroir of Plan de Dieu was classified as Côtes du Rhône Villages in 2005. It is a vast plain with dry stony soils producing refined wines, renowned for elegance, finesse and fruitiness.
› Upon arrival in the cellar, grapes are sorted, destemmed and crushed. Each grape variety is vinified separately.
› Traditional vinification with a long vatting time of up to 3 weeks to concentrate the colour and the aromas.
› Strict control of temperatures (28°C to 31°C max.).
› The wine is then racked off and undergoes malolactic fermentation before blending.
› Ageing in vats during 12 months before bottling.
