Benchmark southern French red wine with masses of juicy fruit flavours and a hint of spice. Not aged in oak, this Côtes du Rhône is a slightly different style to the réserve. Delicious with roasted or grilled meats and Mediterranean cuisine.
The vineyards are in selected locations in the southern part of the Côtes du Rhône Appellation in the Gard and Vaucluse areas. Our winemakers carefully select the grapes to achieve the best expression of this classic Appellation. Each variety is vinified separately in order to fully extract their individual character and aromas. After fermentation, the different varieties are blended and the wine is aged in vats for 6 months before bottling. This wine is not aged in oak.
A deep red wine with purple tints. The nose is intense and full with suggestions of blackberry fruit and spices. The spicy element is also apparent to taste, complementing the red fruit character of this full, lively wine which has a long tasty finish. Delicious with Mediterranean cuisine, cheeses and grilled or roast meats. Serve at cool room temperature. It will cellar for up to 2 years.
