In the South of France Cabernet Sauvignon yields a wine of finesse with rich currant fruit flavours. Delicious with grilled or marinated meats and mature cheeses.
The finest vineyards are harvested to source the grapes selected for this tremendous Cabernet Sauvignon. Part of the harvest is completed late, so the grapes are extra-mature, thereby helping to flesh out the wines and make them rich and round. The wine is macerated for 2 to 3 weeks in order to extract the ideal amount of colour and flavour. After vinification, the wine is aged in vats for 6 months before bottling.
This Cabernet is a deep crimson colour with purple hints, typical of the variety. It is highly aromatic with notes of ripe black fruit, spices and red pepper. The texture is velvety smooth and the fruit is sweet and spicy. Delicious with grilled or marinated meats and mature cheeses. Keep it in your cellar for up to 2 years if you like, but it is drinking well now.
